What type of hard drive i need this module latituite Dell 2nd Hard Drive??
I bought this disk drive module my laptop's hard for me to have another active hard drive connects directly to the bay where the CD-ROM will not know what unit Knid I see to buy portable hard drives, but they say IDE, UDA, SATA and what you should say that the drive is compatible with what I wrote on the website below the module hard disk drive so you can see what im talkin bout http://www.laptopuniverse.com/products/767_dell_dell_2nd_hard_drive_module___media_bay_module_caddies_4_hdd.shtml
It says this right at the bottom of the ad: no hard drive included, you can buy any of the disks of 2.5 "9.5mm mobile hard us. I did a quick search of 9.5 mm for hard drives in Dell returned as ATA, which is the older technology. I do not think many laptops have jumped to SATA, however, because you are not a gaming notebook, the need is not really there for SATA.
