Printer problems: can anyone please help me out?
Hi!
My family recently bought a laser printer (Brother HL – 2142). When it was time to change the toner we accidently threw the drum out as well. I went to Officeworks yesterday and found out that a drum costs more than the entire printer (inc. toner and drum) itself. So virtually, the thing is useless unless i want to fork out $208 – and i don’t plan to! 
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do? I’ve wondered whether I could buy a drum for a better price and I’ve also thought about selling it – but do you think someone would buy it without the drum?
(I live South Australia by the way)

Yes I think some who need only a drum will buy it to you..
I suggest you try to find you model cartridges and you may compare prices to anywhere..
