Why would software work w/a barcode scanner w/a usb connection but not with one with a serial connection?
The two barcode scanners I am referring to are the exact same model except for the connection type(USB vs. Serial). I need to know before I invest another $300.00 to replace them.
If your software is good it should be checking both your serial ports and your USB ports for the scanner.
