Will an AMD 245 work in an AM2 motherboard (Not AM2+ or AM3)?
I want to get an amd 245 but havn’t got the money at the moment for the am3 and ddr3, or even the am2+ motherboards. My budget is 200 euro. Which already includes
Antec 300
Amd 245
Need A Motherboard (also need onboard graphics for now)
2gb ddr2 800
It appears it will work but it will run at a slower HT1.0. Will that effect performance?
ive been told to stay away from asus and go with gigabyte. do you know what performance will be affected by using AM2 instead of am2+
